Privacy & cookies
Edith Bangay Limited is responsible for the personal information used to operate this website. Contact us at enquiries@edithbangay.co.uk.
What we use and why
We use your email address to identify your adult customer account, send sign-in links and confirm orders. We keep order references, the product bought, the amount paid, discounts, purchase consent and access status so we can provide your library and deal with support and refunds. This processing is needed to fulfil your purchase agreement.
We use security information, such as limited sign-in attempt records and session details, to protect accounts and content. Our legitimate interest is running a secure service. Accounting records are retained to meet legal obligations.
Children
Accounts and purchases are for adults. Children can read with a grown-up; we do not ask children to create accounts or provide personal information.
Who helps provide the service
Cloudflare hosts the website and its access records. Stripe handles checkout and payments. We do not receive your full payment-card details. Resend will send customer sign-in and order emails on our behalf.
Before publication: confirm relevant international transfers and safeguards, exact retention periods, any current analytics, and the contact/rights-request procedure.
Cookies and local storage
The proposed customer library uses a necessary sign-in cookie. Reading preferences and page position can be saved on your device. These do not store story illustrations for offline use. The launch candidate contains no advertising pixels or analytics scripts. The separate existing private review area uses its own access cookies.
If optional analytics or marketing cookies are added, this notice and the appropriate controls must be updated first. Declining optional cookies must not prevent purchased reading.
Your choices and rights
You can contact us to ask about your information, request access or correction, and exercise applicable data-protection rights. Some purchase records may need to be kept for accounting or legal reasons. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
